Campbell and NC State To Offer Dual Degree (03/09/2010 08:02 PM)
(RALEIGH) -- Campbell University is partnering with North Carolina State University to provide a new dual degree program. Beginning in fall 2010, students will be able to obtain a J-D from Campbell Law School and a Master of Public Administration from N.C. State.

(RALEIGH) -- The family reports that North Carolina Board of Education Member Kathy Taft has died at WakeMed hospital after suffering a brutal assault Saturday while she stayed at a friend's home in Raleigh. Earlier Tuesday, Raleigh police reported Taft had died and then retracted this announcement.

Gas Prices Inch Up (03/09/2010 08:02 PM)
(CHARLOTTE) -- Brendan Byrnes with AAA Carolinas said the price for a gallon of unleaded regular has gone up about five-cents a week for the past two weeks. Byrnes said one reason the price at the pump has gone up is due to the increase in crude oil prices.

ACC Names All-Academic Team (03/09/2010 08:02 PM)
(GREENSBORO) – The Atlantic Coast Conference’s statistical leaders in total offense and touchdown responsibility and 10 players who earned first-team, second-team or honorable mention All-Conference honors this past season secured spots on the 42-member 2009 Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic Football Team, announced Wednesday by Commissioner John Swofford.
