Thank you for purchasing tickets to the inaugural Blue Jean Black Tie BBQ.  We are looking forward to a great event at the Mint Museum of Art this Friday and can’t wait to see you there.  Should you have friends or colleagues interested in attending, tickets are still available and can be purchased online at www.kidneync.org.

We’ve had lots of people ask about attire for this event and wanted to offer a few suggestions.  Leave the tux at home and have some fun dressing up your denim – anything goes!  For ladies suggestions include: jeans and heels or a cocktail dress and jean jacket.  For the men, pair your favorite jeans with a button down shirt or blazer.  Be comfortable and put on your favorite dancing shoes to hit the floor and swing to the sounds of Mick and the Ultras.

7:00 – 7:30pm             Enjoy live music on the front lawn by Marcie Hernandez.

7:00 – 10:00pm          Sample the gourmet assortment of southern hors d’oeuvres and cocktails from the bar.

Visit the silent auction and bid on unique items and one of a kind experiences.

Visit the Kidneyville Cruiser Open House.

Savor a cigar at the Sullivan’s Steakhouse cabana or capture the evening’s memories at the photo booth.

7:30pm                        Strike up the band and dance to live music by Mick and the Ultras.

8:00 – 9:00pm            Stroll the museum galleries featuring the exclusive Masterworks Collection from the New Orleans Museum of Art.

9:15pm                        Get your last minute bid in, the silent auction tables close.

9:30pm                        Special presentations by Mike Minter along with event honorees, Emmitt and Charlotte Ray.

9:45pm                        Auction check out opens.
